All in $100 Room Challenge
Are you ready for another round of the $100 Room Challenge? One month. One room. One hundred dollars or less. Week 4. It was tedious and not so fun. The job was to give this vintage drop leaf table new life. After this week I realized I do not enjoy sanding.
Already it is week 3 of the $100 Room Challenge where we have one month to finish a space for hundred dollars or less. If this is your first visit , I highly recommend you hop on over to Erin’s Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry as she is the brilliant lady behind this idea. She’s been featured on the Rachel Ray show and the Jason Show!
Welcome to week 2 of our kitchen nook $100 Room Challenge and it’s been a challenge. That’s part of the fun though. Before I get into the fun let me introduce you to Erin, the creator of this January and September challenge. We have one month to transform a space for $100 dollars or less. Hop on over to her blog and check out her appearance on the Rachel Rae and the Jason show here.
A new year and for many it means new resolutions. For me, though, it means it’s time for the $100 Room Challenge. The $100 Room Challenge takes place every January and September. Our host, Erin, from over at Lemons, Lavender and Laundry, created this challenge where we have one month to transform a space for 100 dollars or less.
For years this queen has gone without a crown. She dominated her realm nevertheless. Finally the day came where she was given a crown only a country gal would love. With the door, some leftover Allure flooring, from our master bath makeover, and extra trim boards, I was pretty determined I could make a headboard.
It’s week 3 and the guest bedroom has drastically changed with new paint, wall trim and a DIY queen sized headboard. With only a hundred bucks to create a welcoming dream room for guests, my first expense was buying supplies for the wall trim.
This is my first $100 Room Challenge and after weekend one, I’m both excited and pooped. I've decided to jump right in and transform the guest bedroom in one month! This is all about The guest bedroom closet and how I transformed it without spending any of my budget! Phew.
Oh my! I can’t believe I am doing this. For two years my feet have been dangling in the pool of blogging. Post here. Post there. Rarely a post everywhere. My social media footprint was me just moving my toes back and forth. Never going any deeper than I was comfortable.
Then it happened.
